Briar Hill Golf Course - Hole Number 6

Red Tee 425, White Tee 552, Blue Tee 556

Handicap Number 3

Number 6 can be a golfer's blow up hole. It's a long par 5 with little room for error on the right, which is staked "out-of-bounds" the entire length of the hole. The green is small and is only approachable from out in front. The front of the green is level with the fairway but the sides are raised, making a difficult chip onto the narrow putting surface. From the second shot landing area in there are isolated trees on either side of the fairway that can frustrate your approach. Caution is advised and the occasional bogie is no shame.
